The College of Architecture MakerPlace is a space that welcomes all disciplines for school or personal projects and assists in the creative process.

About The MakerPlace

The Langford MakerPlace is an open-use and general working area meant for any student, staff, or faculty member regardless of departmental affiliation. We are located in the Langford Architecture Center, in building A, on the first floor across from the elevator.

Free resources include 24/7 seating and tables, as well as help on general projects and tasks depending on availability. We are staffed Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. Our goal is to facilitate the creativity and individual projects of those that come into our shared learning environment.

Whether you are working on your computer, wooden model, toys, quilts, or anything else, you are free to work, ask for help, or help others here!
